Pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets of Washington, DC on Sunday as the AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) kicks off its annual three day conference in the nation's capital.AIPAC is a powerful pro-Israel lobby with a stated mission to 'strengthen, protect and promote the US-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.'The protesters called for by several human rights and activist groups chanted calling for 'an end to the occupation' and 'freedom for Palestine.'
