Just 22% of Israelis believed the government was handling the situation on the Gaza border "very well" in November, according to an Israel Democracy Institute poll republished on Monday.
The think tank disseminated the poll results following Monday morning's rocket from Gaza that landed in Israel's Center, striking a home and injuring seven.
The study was initially conducted following a barrage of more than 300 rockets were fired from Gaza on southern Israel. In response, the IDF deployed fighter planes, helicopters and tanks in Gaza and killed three Palestinians, striking over 70 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets.
The survey also found that 69% of respondents thought Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did the right thing by not responding to the rockets by launching a large-scale operation, while some 60% believed that the IDF was dealing "very well" with the Palestinians’ weekly protests along the Gaza border.
