The Knesset denied entry to an aide for MK Masoud Gnaim (UAL-Ta'al) who said he would 'butcher 50 Jews,' a Knesset source confirmed Wednesday.
The aide made the comment to a Knesset usher during a conversation about a recent soccer match between Beitar Jerusalem and Bnei Sakhnin.
The usher reported the statement to Knesset security, which then interrogated him and the aide before deciding to remove Gnaim's aide from the premises and taking away his Knesset entry pass until the end of its investigation.
Gnaim did not fire the aide, and told The Jerusalem Post: "He said it as a joke to his friend. He didn't mean it seriously; he's not that kind of person."
