Protests in Tel Aviv turned violent, with clashes, road blockages, and police using sound-wave systems by accident.
According to reports, multiple protestors lit fires on the highway in Tel Aviv, and one was even arrested for suspicion of lighting a tire on fire.
About 20,000 demonstrators came to the demonstration in Kaplan, and more were present at about 30 early demonstrations across the country.
