This week, The Veep himself, US Vice President Joe Biden, was in Israel as part of a regional trip that includes meetings in the UAE, Jordan, and the Palestinian territories.

Against the backdrop of the shaky personal relationship between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama, Biden sought to make headway on a slew of issues such as regional cooperation, enforcing the Iran deal, the battle against ISIS, the fate of the two-state solution and, of course, renewing the US defense package for another ten years.
