on has already arrived in New York ahead of her Broadway debut later this month. But soon after she completes her run as Roxie Hart in the show Chicago, Maimon will bring the role back to Tel Aviv.
In March, the Broadway production of the popular show will arrive in Tel Aviv, with Maimon in the lead role, for just seven shows over a period of five days.
Maimon will step into the role on September 21 in the famed Ambassador Theatre. And while she will only be in the Broadway production for two weeks, Maimon will put all her training and study to good use when the show hits the Charles Bronfman Auditorium in Tel Aviv from March 7-11.
Alongside Maimon, Broadway veteran Amra-Faye Wright will play Velma Kelly, the Tony-nominated Tom Hewitt will portray Amos Hart and Tony winner Cady Huffman will play Matron “Mama” Morton.
But Israeli audiences will pay Broadway prices to see Maimon and the production in Tel Aviv. Tickets for the shows, which are available at eventim.co.il, range in price from NIS 250-500.
