Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad said on Saturday that his country will not allow Israelis to enter the country, according to Walla! News.Mohamad's words came in response to the criticism his country has received lately banning Israeli participants in the Paralympic Swimming World Championship, scheduled to take place in Malaysia in July."Israel does many bad things but it does not get reprimanded," Mohamad said.
When asked if he thinks it is fair to punish the Israeli public and not the government, Mohamad said that "most Israelis support their government," adding that since "Israel is very strong, [Malaysia] cannot do much against it, but they do not have to demonstrate affection to it.""The world is talking about freedom of speech, but whenever we say anything against Israel and the Jews, it is considered antisemitism," he added.
