Two injured as small aircraft crashes in central Israel

Plane crashes in Tal Mond
Two people were injured when a small aircraft crashed in central Israel's Sharon region near Tel Mond on Friday.
MDA paramedics were on the scene treating the injured who were initially reported to be in serious condition.
MDA medic Yaakov Partiv witnessed the crash, saying: "I was preparing to get on a flight at the landing strip when we saw a plane that was landing catch fire."
Partiv said that he and other bystanders pulled the plane's two pilots out of the smoldering aircraft. Both men were conscious at the time. They were suffering from burns and severe wounds.
Additional MDA paramedics arrived, providing the men with further treatment before evacuating them to hospital.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
