Actor won a Tony for portraying Uri Savir in 'Oslo.'

Playing Israelis has been working out pretty well for Michael Aronov. After winning a Tony for his role as Israeli negotiator Uri Savir in the Broadway play Oslo, Aronov is now about to play a Mossad agent.Aronov, who grew up in Miami, is joining the cast of the Hollywood film Operation Eichmann as Israeli spy Zvi Aharoni. Deadline first exclusively reported the casting news last week.Aronov will play alongside Oscar Isaac as fellow agent Peter Malkin and Fauda’s Lior Raz as Isser Harel, the director of the Mossad. Oscar-winner Ben Kingsley is slated to portray the infamous Nazi mastermind Adolf Eichmann.The film depicts the hunt and capture of Eichmann in Argentina by the Mossad in the 1960s.Filming for the movie is slated to begin in October in Argentina, according to Raz.While Savir told The Jerusalem Post earlier this year that he advised Aronov on playing him before the show, the actor will have no such luck this time.Aharoni, who spent decades in the Mossad, died in 2012.
