Car accident at the Jerusalem light rail damages train

In what has become almost a weekly occurrence, the Jerusalem light rail experienced another minor accident with a private car on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred in the Shuafat neighborhood, when a car made an illegal turn onto an area of the track that is not open to private vehicles, according to Citypass, the company that runs the trains.

Light damage was caused to the train and the car and there were no injuries.
