The game must go on: Despite rockets, Lacrosse Israel competes in championships

Israel Head Coach Bill Beroza says they are praying "for the folks back home," and that some members of the team returned to Israel to be with their families.

Despite tensions in Israel as the conflict with Gaza rages on, Israel Lacrosse has continued its summer programming, including its youth lacrosse camps across the country and watch parties for its 2014 world championship campaign.
Team Israel Lacrosse is currently competing in the  quadrennial World Lacrosse Championships in Denver. Several of the players, however, were unable to travel to Denver as they are needed in the IDF, as Israel's Operation Protective Edge continues in Gaza.

Israel was set to face Ireland on the lacrosse pitch on Monday.
