WASHINGTON – Jewish comedian Sarah Silverman has a self-admitted “indecent proposal” for Sheldon Adelson, one she hopes he finds so appealing he’ll give his millions of dollars in campaign contributions to Barack Obama rather than Mitt Romney.
In a new video making the rounds on the Internet, Silverman offers to “scissor” the billionaire casino mogul should he switch his allegiances.
The video can be found here (Warning: Explicit sexual language).
Silverman’s raunchy one-and- half-minute clip, found at scissorsheldon.com, ends with her demonstrating her technique with the help of a small dog while decked out in a bikini – which she promised to don for Adelson as well if he takes her up on the offer.
An Adelson aide declined to provide a response to the video, other than to say he was aware of it but did not believe Adelson himself had seen it.
“Do you know how many Republican billionaires are giving money to Romney? All of them. How many of them are getting scissored by a bikini-bottomed Jewess with big naturals?” Silverman asks in the video directed at the 78-year-old businessman, who has also been a major contributor to a host of Jewish and Israeli causes.
The video includes a disclaimer from The Jewish Council for Education and Research, which paid for the video, saying that it was not endorsed by any candidate.
The council is the same group that worked with Silverman in 2008 on the “Great Schlep” to encourage young Jewish Obama supporters to travel to Florida in order to convince their grandparents to vote for Obama.
For this election, the group has created a new platform it hopes grassroots supporters will use to post video, songs and other original creations that make the case for Obama.
