Israelis will be able to spend the upcoming fall in Venice as British carrier extends flights offered.

British low-cost carrier easyJet will launch two new flight routes from Israel to Italy this fall, the company announced on Tuesday.The iconic orange planes will connect Tel Aviv to Venice and Naples. The Venice flights will operate three times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, beginning on October 31, while Naples flights will take place twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, beginning on November 4, the company said.“We are delighted to launch two new destinations between from Tel Aviv and Italy. This is in addition to Tel Aviv-Milan that we have operated successfully since 2014,” said Sophie Dekkers, director UK and Israel market, easyJet.“As the leading low fares airline in Israel we are always striving to offer more attractive destinations for our Israeli customers who fly with us for business and leisure.”The company was also first to provide low-cost international options to Israelis, with the launch of the Tel Aviv-Luton route in November 2009, according to the airline. EasyJet is Europe’s leading airline and the third largest airline in Israel in general, flying more than 700,000 passengers a year, the company added.EasyJet also connects Tel Aviv to London Gatwick, Manchester, Basel, Geneva, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam. The airline provided service to Rome, until it closed its base in the city last year.
