In Pictures: US Treasury Secretary Mnuchin in Israel

The treasury secretary stopped by during a four-day Middle East tour.

Steve Mnuchin, the United States Secretary of the Treasury, is in Israel this week for a four-day anti-terror tour. He began the tour in Saudi Arabia and subsequently traveled to Jerusalem for various meetings and events.
While in Israel, he met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who thanked Mnuchin for the US's recent sanctions on Iran.
While in town, he met with his Israeli counterpart, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon.

As is customary for foreign dignitaries, he made a trip to Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust Museum.

Mnuchin - who is Jewish - also made a stop at the Western Wall.

Along with his wife, Louise Linton, Mnuchin visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem's Old City. The pair were married in the spring of 2017 by Vice President Mike Pence, who will visit Israel in December.
